BITS AND PIECES
From Eleanor Hamilton

To win ARHA money at Scottsdale, both owners and riders must be members of ARHA. If someone is not a member, they must join before the Scottsdale show actually starts. Membership packets will be available at the Western Traditions booth or contact Pam Rose at 715-357-6539 , phrose@chibardun.com.

Scottsdale Show 2004
The open and AAOTR championship classes will be NRHA sanctioned classes.

To show in NRHA classes you must also show in the appropriate AHA classes. The actual NRHA entry will be done at the show.

In addition:

You must be a member of NRHA.
Amateur riders must have an NRHA non-pro card.
Your horse must have an NRHA license.
Plan ahead. All NRHA cards, etc., must be done in advance. It takes at least 30 days for the non-pro card.

The Arabian Horse Association of New England will hold its 50th anniversary show in 2004. Tony Sessions, our ARHA rep for Region 16, is organizing an open reining horse exhibition class for the show and will use an NRHA judge.
