The Arabian Reining Horse Association Board initiated the “Honorable Order of Friends of Arabian Reining” award at the US Nationals. Tom Redmond, the 2003 inductee, was honored at the reining reception. Mike Villaseñor introduced Tom. Eleanor Hamilton, ARHA President, presented the plaque. The Honorable Award appeared in the Arabian Horse Times, October 2003.

The Horse and Rider, September 2003 issue, contained an article (Arabian Reining Takes Off) on reining and the Arabian Reining Horse Association. The issue also featured a reining interview with Kit Hall. The November issue had a letter to the editor praising the article. The article was written by Honi Roberts, who also writes for the Arabian Horse World.

Reiners at the Scottsdale 2004 show will have their own arena to show in. Actually, there will be two arenas, one tent covered. Judges at Scottsdale will be Linda Hitt, Debbie Cooper and Julie Fisher-Addante.

2004 renewal notices for the ARHA Associate members went in the mail the week of October 27, 2003.

Ballots for election of ARHA Board of Directors were mailed to all affiliate members the week of November 3, 2003.
